Genevieve NewcombGenevieve Newcomb / Corporate Secretary / Director

Co-founded WFAX with her late husband Lamar in 1948 and still plays an active role in radio station operations. An accomplished, classically trained pianist and church soloist, she served WFAX as program director and created the station's original "good music" format. Over the years, Genevieve admits, "I just wanted to play beautiful music and fought the Lord all the way about going to an all religious format. But today, I can see how He has used WFAX in ways that I never imagined."
